Van Driver (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Durnin’s Fruit & Veg is one of the North East’s leading fresh produce distributors, specialising in the delivery of temperature-controlled fruit and vegetables to the hospitality and foodservice industry.

For over 40 years, we have built our reputation on quality, reliability and exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit Full-Time and Part-Time Van Drivers to join our expanding team.

Batestown, Drumcondrath, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 Y2TA
(Only 5 minutes from Ardee)

Please note: Our premises are not serviced by public transport, so applicants must have their own transport to and from work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver fresh fruit and vegetables to customers throughout the Leinster and North East regions.
  • Complete multi-drop deliveries in a safe, efficient and professional manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing Durnin’s Fruit & Veg.
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork and invoices.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety and cleanliness checks.
  • Ensure products are transported and handled in line with food safety standards.
  • Work as part of a busy and supportive team.

Essential Requirements

  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Ability to travel daily to our depot in Batestown, Co. Meath (C15 Y2TA).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Understanding of basic food safety procedures.
  • Reference from a previous employer.
