General Maintenance Person

Five Minutes from Ardee

We are currently seeking General Maintenance Person to join our team.

Full Time & Part Time position available.

We are based in Batestown, Drumcondrath, Navan, Co Meath C15Y2TA. 5 mins from Ardee.

Mon – sat

Part time 3 days per week

Full time 5 days per week

Normal working hours 8 – 6 

Job Description:

  • Previous background with a hands-on-approach
  • Candidates should be familiar with equipment / machinery
  • A Commitment to additional upskilling is essential

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the plant and equipment to optimum performance
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes for all machines
  • Carry out Preventive, Emergency and Corrective Maintenance of all equipment and fixtures throughout the plant.
  • Document all aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informed of potential issues
  • Always adhere to company safety policies
  • Work as part of the team
  • Work efficiently using own initiative, escalating decisions to the Maintenance Supervisor when necessary.
  • Previous maintenance experience preferred
  • Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Preserving and improving the grounds throughout the year including some
  • Gardening and ground Maintenance
  • Strong communication skills with 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Previous experience in a similar role perferred
  • Trustworthy and punctual
  • Have own transport as public transport doesn’t pass our gate
  • Self-motivated
